Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited is recruiting a Floor Layer Operative to carry out reactive repairs and maintenance works in tenanted social housing properties in Sittingbourne and surrounding areas. The role is permanent with an ASAP start and includes a company van and fuel card.

You will perform tasks such as alto flooring, cap and Cove and Flooring, and should have a valid UK driving licence; DBS check or willingness to obtain; experience in tenanted properties is desirable.

Qualifications

• NVQ/City & Guilds qualification is not essential.
• Valid clean UK driving licence required.
• DBS check (or willingness to obtain) is required.
• Experience working in tenanted properties is preferred.
• Familiar with PDA usage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs and maintenance works to tenanted social housing properties.
• Perform repairs including alto flooring, cap and Cove and Flooring.
• Work in Sittingbourne and surrounding areas as part of a small team.

£38,000 plus company van + fuel card

We are recruiting for a leading social housing contractor to recruit a Floor Layer Operative to carry out reactive repairs and maintenance works to tenanted social housing properties in the Sittingbourne area as well as the surrounding area.

Your duties will include various repairs in properties including alto flooring, cap and Cove and Flooring.

Multi Trade Additional Requirements

• Install Flooring
• NVQ Qualified/City and Guilds Qualified (Not essential)
• Valid Clean UK Driving Licence
• Current valid DBS Check or be willing to undertake as required
• Experience working within tenanted properties
• Familiar with PDA usage
• Clean, presentable, and must be eligible to work in the UK (with proof)
