Job summary

RG Setsquare is recruiting an experienced Floorlayer to work across social housing properties in Leeds. The role involves day-to-day responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and void refurbishments, with duties in occupied and empty properties delivering high-quality flooring installations and customer service to tenants.

You will install, repair, and replace vinyl flooring, cap and cove, safety flooring and wet room flooring, with focus on floor preparation and sub-floor repairs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Floorlayer in social housing, domestic repairs or maintenance.
• Skilled in fitting vinyl, safety flooring, cap & cove, and wet room systems.
• Experience working in occupied properties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day responsive repairs and planned maintenance works.
• Undertake void property refurbishments and high-quality flooring installations.
• Deliver flooring services in both occupied and empty properties with excellent tenant service.

Job description

We are recruiting an experienced Floorlayer to work across social housing properties throughout Leeds. The role will involve carrying out day-to-day responsive repairs, planned maintenance works, and void property refurbishments. You will be working in both occupied and empty properties, delivering high-quality flooring installations and repairs while providing excellent customer service to tenants.

Install, repair, and replace a variety of floor coverings including:

• Vinyl flooring
• Cap & Cove
• Safety flooring
• Wet room flooring

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Floorlayer within social housing, domestic repairs, or maintenance environments.
• Skilled in fitting vinyl, safety flooring, cap & cove, and wet room systems.
• Experience working in occupied properties.
• Ability to carry out floor preparation and sub-floor repairs.
• CSCS card
• NVQ level 2 FLoorlayng ideally but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence.
