Job summary

Henley Chase is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager for a flooring operation in Droitwich. This new role offers accountability from day one, with full ownership of the warehouse, staff, stock and cutting schedule.

Expect to lead by example on the warehouse floor 75% of the time, and drive high standards across health and safety and operations. You will manage a team, ensure accurate cutting runs, maintain stock integrity and enforce PPE requirements every day.

Qualifications

• Proven warehouse management experience.
• Ability to lead and develop a team.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Experience with stock control and goods-in procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the warehouse team, including the Warehouse Supervisor, and set clear performance expectations.
• Enforce PPE and dress requirements daily and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Plan and manage cutting runs and ensure orders are picked accurately and on time.
• Keep the warehouse two weeks ahead of requirements to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure incoming stock is booked in correctly and stored properly.
• Maintain stock rotation, reduce waste and take responsibility for stock accuracy.
