Job summary

Rise10 Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead a new Northamptonshire operation. You will be on the warehouse floor, own the setup, establish clear procedures and build a capable team to support growth.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will shape layout, implement SOPs, manage stock accuracy and drive continuous improvement while maintaining health and safety standards. This permanent, full-time role requires ownership and practical leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience as Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong practical warehouse experience and team leadership.
• Good knowledge of WMS and inventory control.
• Ability to develop and implement processes and procedures.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish warehouse layout, optimize flow and SOPs.
• Oversee goods-in, QC, stock management, orders and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate inventory and conduct stock takes.
• Lead and develop the warehouse team; assist recruitment.
• Ensure health and safety practices and risk assessments.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to resolve issues.
