Job summary

Hexa Services UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Flooring Fitter / Floor Layer to join our Edinburgh-based team. You’ll install safety flooring, vinyl, cap & cove, and associated finishes across social housing, schools and healthcare projects in Edinburgh & Lothians.

You’ll need solid commercial flooring experience, a full UK driving licence, and a demonstrated ability to work in occupied environments. The role offers a permanent contract, a competitive basic salary, and realistic overtime

• Experience working in social housing, schools, healthcare or other occupied environments would be an advantage.

We are recruiting an experienced Flooring Fitter / Floor Layer for a well-established commercial flooring contractor covering Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

This is a permanent position offering a basic salary around £35,000, with experienced fitters realistically earning £40,000£50,000+ through overtime, enhanced rates and price work.

The work

You’ll be working across social housing, schools, healthcare and commercial/public buildings, installing:

• Safety flooring & vinyl
• Cap & cove
• Internal & external mitres
• Carpet & carpet tiles
• LVT and other floor finishes

What we're looking for

You’ll need solid commercial flooring experience, particularly vinyl/safety flooring and cap & cove, along with a full UK driving licence.

Experience working in social housing, schools, healthcare or other occupied environments would be an advantage.
