Job summary

Hexa Services UK Ltd is recruiting an experienced Flooring Fitter / Floor Layer for Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. The role offers a permanent position with a basic salary around £35,000, with experienced fitters realistically earning £40,000–£50,000+ through overtime, enhanced rates and price work.

You will be working on social housing, schools, healthcare and commercial buildings, installing vinyl/safety flooring, cap & cove, carpets and LVT, with a company van provided and overtime

Qualifications

• Solid commercial flooring experience, vinyl/safety flooring and cap & cove.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in social housing, schools, healthcare or occupied environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install safety flooring and vinyl across social housing, schools, healthcare and commercial buildings.
• Carry out cap & cove work and internal/external mitres.
• Lay carpet, carpet tiles, LVT and other floor finishes.
• Work on various sites with health and safety in mind.
• Follow site instructions and maintain quality standards.

We are recruiting an experienced Flooring Fitter / Floor Layer for a well-established commercial flooring contractor covering Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

This is a permanent position offering a basic salary around £35,000, with experienced fitters realistically earning £40,000£50,000+ through overtime, enhanced rates and price work.

The work

You’ll be working across social housing, schools, healthcare and commercial/public buildings, installing:

• Safety flooring & vinyl
• Cap & cove
• Internal & external mitres
• Carpet & carpet tiles
• LVT and other floor finishes

What we're looking for

You’ll need solid commercial flooring experience, particularly vinyl/safety flooring and cap & cove, along with a full UK driving licence.

Experience working in social housing, schools, healthcare or other occupied environments would be an advantage.
