Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Floor Manager for a 14 Month Fixed Term Contract Maternity Cover to lead a floor team and uphold the brand's elevated service standards.

You will greet guests, take orders, make recommendations and ensure a seamless dining experience while maintaining Soho House’s trusted atmosphere for members, guests and staff. This role emphasizes training, collaboration across departments, and continuous service improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and remains calm under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable and passionate about customer service.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Drive exceptional service standards for members, guests, and staff.
• Lead engaging training sessions on Soho House food and drink programs through storytelling and demonstrations.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless guest interactions aligned with brand expectations.
• Support recruitment by identifying talent needs and participating in interviews with People Development.
• Oversee onboarding and development of new team members to keep the floor team confident and guest-focused.
• Gather and act on member feedback with the Membership team to improve service.
• Train staff on Soho House core values and service standards to build a high-performing team.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure tasks are completed to the highest standard.
• Create efficient staff rotas, manage labour costs, and reduce overtime.
