Company Description

We're looking for a Floor Manager to join our restaurant team at Chet’s, located in The Hoxton, Shepherd's Bush.

The Hoxton Shepherd’s Bush is our fourth London location, situated in the vibrant neighborhood of Shepherd’s Bush. It features 237 creatively designed bedrooms and an all-day restaurant, Chet’s, serving Thai-American comfort food. The venue boasts a large open lobby with vintage seating and cozy corners, a central wraparound bar, and a terrace, making it ideal for exploring West London.

About Chet’s: A Thai-Americana restaurant blending the fragrant flavors and smoky textures of Thailand and surrounding regions with the comforts of a classic American diner.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

  1. Ensure the restaurant and bar areas comply with Health & Safety regulations for each shift.
  2. Lead daily briefings for the restaurant and bar teams.
  3. Coordinate and manage reservations system.
  4. Draft floor plans based on expected covers.
  5. Assist the Restaurant AGM with stock management, including ordering and stock counts.
  6. Support the Restaurant AGM in training staff on wine, food, and beverage menus.
  7. Handle cash and prepare daily revenue reports as per hotel SOPs.
  8. Oversee service on the floor and at the bar.
  9. Ensure the safe opening and closing of the restaurant.
  10. Collaborate with the culinary team on menus, service standards, and product availability.
