Company Description

We're looking for a Floor Manager to join our restaurant team in Chets at The Hoxton, Shepherd's Bush.

The Hoxton Shepherd’s Bush is our fourth London Hoxton, located in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush, in an eclectic and diverse neighborhood. It features 237 playfully designed bedrooms and an all-day restaurant - Chet’s serving Thai American comfort food. The venue includes a large open lobby with vintage seating and cozy corners, a central wraparound bar and terrace, making it ideal for exploring West London.

Chet’s offers a Thai-Americana experience, blending fragrant flavors and smoky textures of Thailand and the surrounding region with comforts from the classic American diner, right in Shepherd’s Bush.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

  • Ensure the restaurant/bar area complies with H&S standards for each shift.
  • Lead the daily briefing for the restaurant/bar team.
  • Coordinate and manage the reservations system.
  • Draft floor plans based on expected covers.
  • Support the Restaurant AGM with stock management, including ordering and stock counts.
  • Assist the Restaurant AGM in training on wine, food, and beverage menus.
  • Handle cash and report revenues daily according to hotel SOPs.
  • Oversee service on the floor and bar.
  • Ensure the safe opening and closing of the restaurant.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team on menus, service, and product availability.
