easyJet holidays is seeking an Assistant Accountant in Luton to support Flight Operations accounting and controls. You will check and process invoices, assist with month-end close and prepare journals, delivering clear insights to stakeholders and maintaining strong controls.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, analytical thinking, and collaboration with Finance, Procurement and FP&A. Hybrid work is offered with in-office days required.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• Proficient with MS Excel and invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

• Check, analyse and process invoices in SkyMetrix.
• Investigate differences between invoices and accruals.
• Support month-end accounting and prepare journals.
• Assist with audits and ad-hoc projects.
• Provide cost analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
