Job summary

easyJet holidays is seeking an Assistant Accountant in Luton for a hybrid role within Flight Operations Accounting & Controls, focusing on invoices, cost analysis and month-end activities. Hybrid working with approximately 60% in the office is provided.

You’ll work with Finance, Procurement, FP&A and suppliers to resolve variances, provide accurate reporting and support internal controls across flight operations. The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to explain financial information clearly.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to analyse invoices and accruals.
• Experience with SkyMetrix or AirPas is useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Check, analyse and process invoices; resolve queries with internal teams and suppliers.
• Support month-end accounting; prepare journals and assist audit activities.
• Perform cost analysis and balance sheet reconciliations to identify risks and opportunities.
