easyJet holidays is seeking an Assistant Accountant for the Central Costs function in Luton. This hybrid role involves preparing monthly journals, managing accruals and prepayments, and ensuring accurate allocation of overheads.

You’ll deliver cost-centre analysis, support budgeting and forecasting, and assist with audits across the finance team. The ideal candidate has experience in an Assistant Accountant role, strong Excel skills, and a good grasp of month-end processes.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and post monthly journals for central overheads, marketing costs and insurance premiums.
• Manage accruals and prepayments; reconcile balance sheet and control accounts.
• Provide cost-centre analysis and variance commentary; support budgeting/forecasting; assist audit requests.
