Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with post-qualification experience.
• Experience managing overheads, payroll accounting, or complex processes in a large organisation.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and controls.

Responsibilities

• Own overhead accounting across the organisation including payroll and cost categories.
• Oversee payroll accounting to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Review payroll journals, accruals, provisions and adjustments.
• Ensure payroll costs, taxes, benefits and deductions are correctly recorded in GL.
• Develop monthly reporting to improve quality, speed and insight.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and month-end close for overhead cost centres.
• Maintain robust controls and drive process improvements.
• Build relationships with finance and business stakeholders to support performance.
