Grant Thornton UK is seeking an enthusiastic and commercially minded Manager to join its Actuarial & Risk Modelling team. You will lead pensions actuarial engagements, manage client relationships and coach junior team members, delivering practical, value-driven advisory across pensions, valuations and financial risk.

Qualifications

• Qualified Actuary with DB pensions experience.
• Experience managing multiple internal/external stakeholders within project timeframes.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Commercial awareness and interest in growing a practice.
• Willingness to adapt to AI-enabled advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of pensions actuarial engagements.
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted adviser.
• Review technical work and coach junior team members.
• Contribute to business development, proposals and thought leadership.
• Support growth and development of the Actuarial & Risk Modelling practice.
• Engage in multiple pension scheme and corporate advisory projects.
