Job summary

Grant Thornton in the UK is seeking a commercially minded Manager to join our Actuarial & Risk Modelling team. You will lead pensions actuarial engagements, manage client relationships and coach junior colleagues to deliver high-quality insights.

In this growing practice you’ll contribute to business development, support innovative AI-enabled advisory work and help shape the future of actuarial services across pensions, valuations and financial risk for our clients.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary with DB pension experience.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across projects.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and exceed client expectations.
• Comfortable coaching junior team members and career development.
• Commercial awareness and interest in growing a practice.
• Interest in AI, innovation and data-driven advisory services.
• Flexible to adapt within a growing team.
