Qualifications

• Qualified Actuary with Fellows status is required.
• Defined Benefit pensions experience is essential.
• Experience managing multiple internal or external stakeholders and working within set project timeframes.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and exceed client expectations.
• Comfortable coaching junior team members and supporting career development.
• Strong commercial awareness and willingness to grow a practice.
• Interest in AI, innovation and data-driven advisory services.
• Flexibility to adapt role as the team grows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of pensions actuarial engagements.
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted adviser.
• Review technical work and coach junior team members.
• Contribute to business development, proposals and thought leadership.
• Support growth and development of the Actuarial & Risk Modelling practice.
• Engage in pension scheme projects including funding and de-risking initiatives.
