Job summary

Angard Staffing is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join Parcelforce as flexible (temporary) Warehouse Operatives. No prior experience required, training provided, and a fast-paced environment is offered.

Roles include loading/unloading, moving and sorting parcels, and ensuring timely delivery. Pay rates vary by tenure, with shifts across days, nights, and bank holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of parcel operations.

Qualifications

• Flexible and able to switch between tasks.
• Can lift up to 30 kg and push loads up to 250 kg (with assistance).
• Physically fit and able to stand long shifts.
• Motivated, reliable, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading parcels from trailers.
• Moving parcels through the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Operating mechanised parcel sorting equipment.
• Sorting up to 40,000 items with your team per shift.
• Ensuring every parcel reaches its destination on time.
• Handling items in line with Royal Mail standards where applicable.
