Job summary

Angard Staffing seeks enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join Parcelforce on a flexible (temporary) basis. You will be part of the parcel journey, contributing to smooth loading, sorting and dispatch across shifts.

No experience is required, but any similar background helps. You must be able to lift up to 30kg and work long shifts on your feet in a fast-paced setting, with team colleagues ensuring every parcel reaches its destination on time.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is required, but bonus if you've worked in similar environments.
• Able to lift up to 30kg and push loads up to 250kg (with assistance for heavier items).
• Able to manage long shifts on their feet and stay motivated as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading parcels from trailers.
• Moving parcels through the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Operating mechanised parcel sorting equipment.
• Sorting up to 40,000 items with your team during a single shift.
• Ensuring every parcel is handled with care and reaches its destination on time.
• Securely handle all items in the warehouse in line with Royal Mail standards.
