Job summary

Angard Staffing is seeking enthusiastic Warehouse Operatives to join Parcelforce on a flexible (temporary) basis. You will load/unload parcels, move items safely, and operate sorting equipment in a fast-paced environment.

No prior experience is required, but experience in similar settings is a bonus. You must be able to lift up to 30kg, push up to 250kg with assistance, and work long shifts on your feet as part of a team.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; bonus if you've worked in similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading parcels from trailers
• Moving parcels through the warehouse safely and efficiently
• Operating mechanised parcel sorting equipment
• Sorting up to 40,000 items with your team during a single shift
• Ensuring every parcel — big or small — is handled with care and reaches its destination on time
• You're expected to securely handle all items in the warehouse, including handling certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail standards.
