Job summary

Class Act is seeking Teaching Assistants for day-to-day supply across Lechlade and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible. You will support pupils across a range of year groups, help deliver engaging lessons, and promote inclusive learning environments in various school settings.

Ideal candidates will have experience in schools, knowledge of the national curriculum, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in school settings.
• Understanding of the national curriculum and classroom routines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Teaching Assistant.
• Ability to work flexibly across different schools and age groups.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning goals.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support as required.
• Help manage behaviour and promote positive social interactions.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently.
