Job summary

Class Act Teaching Services is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for day-to-day supply across Faringdon and surrounding areas. You will support pupils with SEND in mainstream and specialist provisions, helping access the curriculum and achieve learning goals.

You will work with teachers to deliver differentiated activities, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help maintain a safe, inclusive classroom while upholding safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience supporting children with SEND in school settings.
• Understanding of a range of special educational needs and strategies to support them.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
• Ability to work flexibly across different schools and age groups.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• A positive, proactive, and patient approach to supporting pupils.
