Randstad Education is seeking adaptable Teaching Assistants for flexible placements across EYFS, Primary, Secondary, and SEN environments. Roles include 1:1 support, group work, and subject-specific assistance. DBS required or willing to apply; UK work right needed. Competitive daily pay and local roles to suit your preferences.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with children or young people (gained in schools, nurseries, care work, sports coaching, or youth work).
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning and pupil development.
Strong communication skills with good foundational literacy and numeracy.
An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities

Primary Mainstream: Provide essential classroom support, lead guided reading/maths groups, and assist with EYFS-KS2 development.
Secondary Mainstream: Offer subject-specific classroom assistance, implement effective behaviour management strategies, and support pupils with GCSE preparation.
SEN & Specialist Support: Deliver 1:1 or small group work tailored to pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech delays, or complex physical needs.
