Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking adaptable Teaching Assistants for flexible placements across Primary, Secondary and SEN settings. You will support pupils in EYFS/Primary, assist teenagers in Secondary, and provide targeted 1:1 help in SEN environments.

Candidates with DBS checks or willingness to obtain one, and with reliable UK work eligibility, are encouraged to apply for immediate starts and varied weekly schedules with local roles.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people (gained in schools, nurseries, care work, sports coaching, or youth work).
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning and pupil development.
• Strong communication skills with good foundational literacy and numeracy.
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
• The right to work in the UK and reliable transport links across {{[Insert Location]}}.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential classroom support across preferred settings (EYFS/Primary, Secondary or SEN).
• Lead guided reading and maths groups and support pupil development.
• Deliver 1:1 or small group work tailored to pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or other needs.
