Randstad Education is seeking adaptable Teaching Assistants to support learners across EYFS, Primary, Secondary and SEN environments in local UK schools. You will tailor your role to your preferred setting, whether it is Primary mainstream, Secondary mainstream, or one-to-one SEN support.

Roles feature flexible daily shifts, near-you assignments, and weekly PAYE pay with no umbrella fees. Immediate starts are available, with many placements to suit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (gained in schools, nurseries, care work, sports coaching, or youth work).
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning and pupil development.
• Strong communication skills with good foundational literacy and numeracy.
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
• The right to work in the UK and reliable transport links across {{[Insert Location]}}.

Responsibilities

• Primary Mainstream: Provide essential classroom support, lead guided reading/maths groups, and assist with EYFS-KS2 development.
• Secondary Mainstream: Offer subject-specific classroom assistance, implement effective behaviour management strategies, and support GCSE preparation.
• SEN & Specialist Support: Deliver 1:1 or small group work tailored to pupils with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech delays, or complex physical needs.
