Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
• Experience with SEND or additional needs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning and classroom activities.
• Work alongside the class teacher to help create a positive learning environment.
• Provide one-to-one or small-group support where required.
• Encourage pupils to participate and develop confidence in their abilities.
• Help manage classroom behaviour using positive and consistent approaches.
• Support pupils who may require additional educational or pastoral assistance.
• Assist with general classroom preparation and day-to-day activities.
