Thera Trust is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities in daily activities and community engagement. You will help them develop personal goals, provide emotional support, and enable more independent living.

Training is provided, and outcome-focused care is valued within an inclusive team. Role may involve home-based or community support, with a strong emphasis on compassionate, respectful, and person-centred practice.

Qualifications

• No previous experience or qualifications required; full training will be provided.
• Must be compassionate, caring, confident and resilient.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Keen to learn in a fast-paced environment and embrace our values.

Responsabilités

• Support adults with learning disabilities in daily activities, helping them live as independently as possible.
• Help individuals develop new skills and achieve personal goals and ambitions.
• Provide personal and emotional support, assisting with daily routines and home life.
• Assist with planning leisure, employment, travel and community involvement.
