THERA TRUST is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities in daily living, skills development and personalised goals. You will provide personal and emotional support, work in homes or the community, and adapt care plans to individual needs.

No previous experience is required; full training is provided, with a strong emphasis on compassionate, effective communication and teamwork within a values-driven organisation.

Qualifications

• No previous experience or qualifications required; free, Skills for Care endorsed full training provided.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident, articulate and professional.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with a learning disability in daily living and personal care.
• Help develop new skills and support with planning and managing home, leisure, employment and travel.
• Provide emotional support and empower individuals to live independently.
• Work in homes or community settings as required.
