Choice Care in Wales is seeking a dedicated Social Care Worker to support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. Training and mentoring are provided, with in-house courses offered free of charge and a defined career path from day one.

The role covers personal care, medication administration, and participation in residents' activities, following care plans. It requires shift work, including weekends, with flexible patterns to fit personal commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care or willingness to train.
• In-house training provided at no cost.
• Good communication and reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, toileting, dressing and feeding support.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document administration.
• Assist residents in daily activities, hobbies, or outings.
• Follow care plans and company policies and procedures.
• Develop open, honest, and respectful relationships with residents.
• Maintain written daily records.
• Attend and complete required training.
