Job summary

RAC in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Superflex Roadside Mechanic to cover Esher cluster areas. You’ll be a proactive technician providing roadside diagnostics and repairs, with a flexible shift pattern and a van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit supplied.

Shifts run between 06:00 and 02:00 with a base salary of £55,869 and potential to earn up to £61,000, depending on overtime and bonuses. You’ll join a company with 128 years heritage and a strong support network for growth.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• Alternatively 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide roadside repair and maintenance to get members back on the road.
• Manage your own kit and keep your RAC van stocked with essential tools.
• Read situations to determine the right fix and support members, keeping everyone moving.
