Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support children with SEND in a mainstream primary school in Wolverhampton.

You will work with the class teacher to provide tailored support, encourage engagement and help pupils reach their full potential, adapting to each day’s needs.

The role is on an ad hoc basis from September, with a friendly team and opportunities for CPD and professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND within a school setting.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• A patient, caring and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments.
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
