Job summary

Smile Education Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support a specialist school in Wolverhampton from the start of the new academic year. This role suits those starting out in education or balancing studies.

You will work with teachers, support staff, and students with SEND, providing 1:1 support, small group interventions, and helping create a safe, inclusive learning environment. Flexible, ongoing opportunities throughout the academic year.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Interest in supporting students with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use initiative when needed.
• Eagerness to gain valuable experience in education.
• Available for flexible work throughout the academic year.
