Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND in a mainstream primary school in Wolverhampton. This ad hoc role offers the flexibility to choose your shifts while making a real impact in daily classroom learning.

You will work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support, build strong relationships with pupils and help them reach their full potential in an inclusive, welcoming environment.

The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on an ad hoc basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils with SEND across the school, working closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support, encourage engagement and promote positive learning outcomes while adapting to the needs of each day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children with SEND within a school setting
• A patient, caring and proactive approach to supporting pupils
