The Supply Register is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary and secondary academies in Northampton and Corby, Northamptonshire. Roles include full-time, part-time, or day-to-day supply to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• SEND Experience: Proven experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Childcare Experience: Experience working with children in educational, care, or youth settings.
• DBS: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS check.
• Flexibility: Adaptable, patient and empathetic approach to supporting young people.

Responsibilities

• Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse SEND needs.
• Assisting class teachers in creating an inclusive, safe learning environment.
• Helping students engage with the curriculum and learn at their own pace.
• Supporting individual behavior plans and promoting positive behavior management.
