Qualifications

• SEND Experience: Proven experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Childcare Experience: Experience working with children in educational, care, or youth settings.
• DBS: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS check.
• Flexibility: Adaptable, patient and empathetic approach to supporting young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse SEND needs (including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties).

• Assisting class teachers in creating an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment.

• Helping students engage with the curriculum and access learning at their own pace.

• Supporting individual behavior plans and promoting positive behavior management.

Requirements

• SEND Experience: Proven experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

• Childcare Experience: Prior experience working with children in an educational, care, or youth work setting.

• DBS: Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new DBS check.
