Job summary

The Supply Register is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary and secondary academies in Peterborough. We offer flexible work options—full-time, part-time, or day-to-day supply—and exclusive access to Greenwood Academies Trust roles.

Qualifications

• SEND experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Childcare/education or youth-work experience is required.
• DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new DBS check.
• Flexible, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students across primary/secondary ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse SEND needs (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, etc).
• Assist class teachers to maintain an inclusive, safe learning environment.
• Help students access the curriculum and learn at their own pace.
• Support behaviour plans and positive handling strategies as directed.
