Job summary

The Supply Register is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary and secondary academies in Peterborough. This role offers flexible working across full-time, part-time, or day-to-day supply needs.

Ideal candidates will have SEND and childcare experience, with an enhanced DBS or willingness to apply. Join a team that provides exclusive access to Greenwood Academies Trust schools and dedicated support.

Qualifications

• SEND Experience: Proven experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Childcare Experience: Prior experience in educational, care, or youth work settings.

Responsibilities

• Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse SEND needs (including Autism, ADHD, SEMH).
• Assisting class teachers in creating an inclusive, safe learning environment.
• Helping students engage with the curriculum and access learning at their own pace.
• Supporting individual behavior plans and promoting positive behavior management.
