Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to support young people with additional needs in Hull. This long-term temporary supply role offers flexible patterns and the potential to move into a permanent position.

Must hold QTS and bring experience with children with Autism/ASD, SEMH or ADHD, plus strong behaviour and classroom management skills. Competitive daily rates and dedicated consultant support are provided.

Qualifications

• QTS required.
• Experience working with children and young people with additional needs.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Experience supporting students with Autism/ ASD, SEMH or ADHD.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support students across different Key Stages in SEND settings.
• Deliver lessons and support learning across SEND settings in Hull.
• Assist with tailored learning approaches and therapeutic support for needs such as ASD/ADHD/SEMH.
