Job summary

Smile Education is recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for schools across Walsall. We have both full-time and flexible part-time roles, with start dates available ASAP or from September, to support learners across age ranges and SEN needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (references available).
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Knowledge of EYFS curriculum is a bonus.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 in Supporting Teaching & Learning).

Responsibilities

• Support classroom activities under direction of the class teacher.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups, including with pupils with SEN or behavioural needs.
• Assist with education and behaviour plans and promote independence.
• Provide feedback to help pupils grow and support displays.
