Job summary

Reed in Partnership is seeking a Business Manager to lead and motivate a team of Employment Advisers, delivering high-quality services to help unemployed jobseekers into lasting work. You will oversee daily operations and ensure performance against targets.

The role offers a generous base salary (£35,500 - £43,000) pro-rata for part time, exposure to the Restart referrals, and opportunities for development, training and progression within Reed's Employability Division.

Qualifications

• Experience in line management of a team.
• Experience in sales, customer service or recruitment.
• Proven ability to meet targets personally and as a manager.
• Experience in people management including training, coaching and performance management.
• Strong administration and IT skills.
• Assertiveness and resilience with good decision-making.
• Minimum of 2 A-Levels or Level 3 Diploma.
• GCSE English Language at grade B or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Taking Ownership: Implement strategies to upskill local community members and overcome barriers to employment.
• Monitor and manage office and individual performance against KPIs.
• Working Together: Lead, motivate and direct staff to meet/exceed performance targets and KPIs.
• Overseeing staff development, including performance management, identifying skills gaps, and coaching/mentoring.
• Maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximise Restart referrals and participant employment opportunities.
• Being Fair, Open, and Honest: Manage Profit and Loss reports and monthly financial forecasting.
