Job summary

RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Mechanic to join our Guildford cluster and support members across Guildford, Woking, Farnham and surrounding areas. You’ll operate a RAC van, servicing roadside calls with diagnostic and repair work designed to get drivers back on the road quickly.

Shifts run between 06:00 and 02:00, requiring flexibility, weekend and bank-holiday coverage. You’ll be equipped with a van, fuel card, uniform and diagnostic kit, with ongoing development and industry accreditation

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years as Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Willingness to work varied shifts 6:00–02:00, including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attend roadside calls to diagnose and repair vehicles to get members back on the road.
• Work across a local cluster covering Guildford, Woking, Farnham, Camberley, Aldershot, Fleet, Godalming, Haslemere, Lightwater.
• Manage own kit, van, and reports with precision.
