Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Relief Retail Security officers to cover holidays and sickness across Rugby and surrounding areas. You will be trained fully and supported to succeed, with shifts across early, late and overnight periods.

The role requires SIA guarding or door supervision, 18+ and a strong attendance record. Flexible hours and a full induction are provided to fit around your availability, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old (legal requirement to work in frontline licensable activity).
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence held.
• 5 years of checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and smart in appearance.
• Friendly, approachable and always professional.

Responsibilities

• Ensure colleague safety and provide a visible security presence.
• Manage incidents with proactive conflict resolution and control access.
• Conduct security patrols and deter crime across sites.
• Interact professionally with the public and provide guidance as needed.
• Follow safety and security processes and work as part of a team.
