Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking enthusiastic, reliable individuals to join our team as relief officers across multiple sites in the UK. You will cover holidays and sickness, with flexible hours and shifts typically from 6am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm, including some midnight finishes.

Training and ongoing support are provided to help you succeed. Applicants should be 18+, hold an SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence, and have a history of reliable, professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the UK.
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence is required.
• 5 years checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and smart in appearance.
• Friendly, approachable and professional at all times.
• Experience in security or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Ability to interact positively with clients and customers.
• Able to work as part of a team and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure colleague safety and provide a reassuring presence.
• Maintain a smart, visible security presence and deterrence.
• Handle incidents with effective conflict management.
• Control access and conduct security patrols to deter crime.
• Engage with the public in a proactive, professional manner.
• Be aware of hazards and respond appropriately.
• Provide guidance and directions to customers as first point of contact.
• Follow safety and security processes and procedures.
• Work as part of a team and build strong working relationships.
