British Red Cross in Chichester is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to support the shop team in delivering excellent customer service and a well-presented store. You will work with the shop manager to drive profitability while maintaining high standards of care for volunteers and customers.

The role offers flexible working arrangements, a supportive environment and opportunities to develop retail skills while contributing to aid work across the UK and abroad.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in a shop environment.
• Strong customer-focused approach and people skills.
• Good awareness of financial targets and basic IT skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist the shop manager to run a profitable, customer-focused shop that reflects the British Red Cross on the high street.
• Coordinate activity behind the scenes to ensure smooth shop operation on a daily basis.
• Foster a brilliant shopping environment and provide an excellent customer experience in store.
• Oversee a team of volunteers, delivering induction, management and development.
