Job summary

LiveWest Homes Ltd in East Cornwall is seeking Relief Youth Development Workers to support young people aged 16-25 across Bodmin and surrounding schemes. You will help residents manage tenancy, understand benefits, and develop budgeting and wellbeing skills, while promoting social inclusion.

You'll work ad-hoc shifts, including potential lone-working on site, with a commitment to safeguarding and flexible, sensitive service delivery. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without COS.

Qualifications

• Experience in lone working and safeguarding in a housing/support setting.
• Ability to assess and manage risk for young people aged 16–25.
• Skills to support tenancy, benefits understanding, budgeting and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to young people aged 16–25 to manage tenancy, understand benefits and develop budgeting and wellbeing skills.
• Support and monitor residents’ welfare, health and safety with a flexible, sensitive approach.
• Work ad-hoc shifts on-site, including potential lone-working on site.
