LiveWest Homes Ltd in West Cornwall is seeking Relief Youth Development Workers to support young people aged 16-25 in our housing schemes. You will help residents manage tenancy, understand benefits, budget, improve wellbeing and social inclusion, with a flexible relief shift pattern.

The role involves monitoring conduct, health and safety, and welfare, with some lone-working on site and on-call on a flexible basis. DBS enhanced check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience of lone working is preferred.
• Ability to assess and manage risk.
• Ability to support individuals in a housing/support context.
• Understanding of adult vulnerabilities in a supported housing environment.
• Ability to adopt a methodical, organised approach to work.

Responsabilités

• Provide support services to young people aged 16-25 in West Cornwall.
• Support tenancy management, benefits understanding, budgeting, wellbeing and social inclusion.
• Work flexibly on relief shifts, sometimes lone working on site.
• Support and monitor health and safety and general welfare of residents.
