Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking enthusiastic relief officers to cover holidays and sickness at various locations across the UK. You set your availability; typical shifts are 6am-3pm and 3pm-11pm, with some sites finishing at midnight.

This role can be full-time with flexible travel and hours. Requirements include being 18+, holding an SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence, and having 5 years of checkable work history.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence
• 5 years checkable work and address history
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and smart in appearance
• Friendly, approachable and professional
• Experience in security or customer facing role preferred
• Able to interact with clients and customers positively
• Team player in a security environment

Responsibilities

• Ensure colleague safety and provide a secure presence
• Deterrent and proactive security presence on site
• Conflict management and incident handling
• Control access and conduct security patrols
• Engage with the public in a professional manner
• Be aware of hazards and respond appropriately
• Provide guidance and direct customers as first point of contact
