Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our security team, working with prestigious clients and receiving full training and ongoing support to help you succeed. As a relief officer you will cover holidays and sickness across various locations. We will tailor hours to your availability.

Typical shifts include 6am-3pm, 3pm-10pm/11pm, with some sites finishing at midnight. Location: Chester.

Qualifications

• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence required.
• 18 years or older due to front-line licensable activity.
• 5 years checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance.
• Friendly and professional demeanor.
• Experience in security or customer-facing role preferred.
• Able to interact positively with clients and customers.
• Proven ability to work in a team and follow security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure colleague safety and provide reassurance.
• Maintain a smart, visible security presence and deterrent.
• Manage incidents with effective conflict resolution.
• Control access and egress; conduct security patrols.
• Engage with the public in a proactive, professional manner.
• Be aware of hazards and incidents and respond appropriately.
• Guide, inform and direct customers as first point of contact.
• Follow safety and security processes and procedures.
• Work as part of a team and build strong working relationships.
