Aspire People is recruiting Psychology Graduates to support pupils with SEND in Manchester and the surrounding areas. You will apply knowledge of child development, behaviour, and communication to help pupils access learning and participate fully in class.

Roles are flexible and include 1:1 and small-group support, with potential progression into specialist roles or teaching. A genuine passion for inclusive education and safeguarding is essential for success in these positions.

Qualifications

• A degree in Psychology, Child Psychology, Education, or a related subject.
• A genuine passion for child development and inclusive education.
• Experience with children, young people, mentoring, tutoring, or support work is desirable.
• A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach; strong communication and teamwork skills; safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND, ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties.
• Work with pupils with SEMH and behavioral needs.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Help pupils access learning and overcome barriers in the classroom.
• Support communication, social development and emotional regulation.
• Assist with interventions and personalised learning activities.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams.
