Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for an Oncology Cancer Support Navigator to support private oncology patients throughout their cancer journey. The role involves coordinating referrals, investigations and treatment plans, and serving as a trusted point of contact for patients and families.

You will work closely with consultants and the multidisciplinary team, bringing high levels of organisation and empathy to create a patient-centered experience and reduce delays

Qualifications

• Experience in private patient care and navigating cancer pathways.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with consultants and clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, efficient administration and navigation for oncology private patients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate referrals, investigations, appointments and treatment plans to avoid delays.
• Communicate effectively with patients and carers about appointments and treatment-related matters.
• Work with the wider oncology team to manage workload and prioritise tasks.
