Job summary

Yorkshire Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking passionate Primary Teaching Assistants to work in various schools around Pocklington and surrounding areas on an ad-hoc basis. We have both part-time and full-time positions available, with long-term and day-to-day assignments, starting ASAP.

Qualifications

• Relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3); Level 3 desirable.
• Experience working with children in EYFS or nursery settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient approach.
• Understanding of EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of engaging learning activities for children across EYFS - KS2.
• Help create a nurturing, safe environment promoting exploration and early learning.
• Assist in personal, social, emotional, and educational development through targeted support.
• Collaborate with class teacher and staff on planning, observation and assessment.
